Jesus stinks!
I once met a glue sniffer who had just become a Christian.
He was so enthusiastic and excited about his new relationship with Jesus.
I was ashamed that my enthusiasm could not match his.
Jesus stinks, he uttered. Before I could jump and defend the Master, he went on; "Jesus is just like me. He was homeless, I am homeless. I stink and Jesus stinks."
Rob Harley, a Kiwi journalist, when addressing a men's meeting once said "Salvationists, are best placed to minister to people on the streets today because they still have the smell of the streets on them!"
I prayed that that was true!
So the challenge must be: Why are there only a few of us who really stink?
